Timeline
2004
Kawacom Hellas is founded after 22 years of experience in proprietary farms and in the green coffee processing plant in Africa, supplying the largest coffee companies worldwide. This knowledge allowed us to bring to Greece the Ipanema Espresso brand from the innovative Ipanema Coffees farm in Brazil.
2008
We move to our first privately owned facilities in Ilioupoli.
2011
We create the first production unit of Kawacom in Koropi. We bring the entire production activity and coffee processing within borders. Kawacom is becoming a strategic hub connecting 3 continents, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
2012
A new brand is born. Utopia Coffees creates new trends in the Greek coffee market.
2015
Kawacom moves to new facilities of 1,800 m2, in the industrial area of Alimos.
2017
We relocate to a new, contemporary factory, with an area of 2,000 sq.m. and capacity to produce 6,000 tons of roasted coffee. We create the subsidiary KAWACOM CYPRUS LTD and launch the first branch in Thebes for the prefecture of Boeotia.
2018
The Hellenic Coffee Association is founded and Kawacom Hellas becomes its founding member.
2019
A new branch is added in Lamia for the prefecture of Fthiotida. We are creating a new specialty coffee brand, Ofellia Coffees.
2020
We proceed with the installation of an aluminum capsule production unit (compatible with a Nespresso type system) and the creation of our corporate eshop.
We develop furthermore the brand Kawa Coffees with unique single origin coffees and custom-made blends.

2021
We create KAWACOM NORTH in Thessaloniki.
2022
We inaugurate our branch in Nafplio for the prefectures of Argolis, Arcadia and Argosaronicos.
2023
We acquire a new production facility and create packaged, ready-to-drink cold brew.
