For one more year, Kawacom Hellas SA joined forces with the Pet Association of Ilioupoli (ZEI) for its big annual Christmas bazaar! As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, Kawacom has become the sole coffee sponsor in support of the pet association. After almost 2 years without the big event for raising money for the homeless, the bazaar was a great success – of course taking all the necessary measures – and Kawacom was there supporting the huge effort of ZEI.
Thanks to the contribution of all sponsors and volunteers, money was raised to cover the particularly increased needs of ZEI, since it is one of the largest animal welfares in our country!
It is worth to mention that only for 2021 ZEI achieved a lot:
- 180 stray animals (dogs and cats) were adopted, all healthy, vaccinated, with a microchip and of course all adults were neutered.
- There were 148 dog collections and 423 cat collections.
- 112 dogs and 398 cats were neutered from the streets.
- 39 very difficult cases were managed, with surgeries and heavy hospitalizations.
Until the last cage is empty, we will continue to be by their side!
